Wrestler: Patrick Lew Current Wrestling League: Shootcamp Wrestling Personal Homepage: http://www.purevolume.com/audiorageformerlysamuraisorcerers, http://www.myspace.com/samuraisorcerers Ring Name: Audio Hometown: Taipei, Taiwan (born), Seattle, Washington, USA (hometown) DOB: Nov 15, 1985 Height: 6’-0’’ Weight: 215 pounds

Patrick Lew was born in San Francisco, CA to an Asian American family on November 15, 1985. His parents were culinary arts and hotel workers, his father being a chef at a Chinese restaurant and his mother being the maid at Hilton Hotel in downtown SF. He is and of Chinese and Japanese ancestry in his Asian culture. His love for music and wrestling came at a young age as Patrick went to Vibo Music Center in hopes to become a great rock musician. But for wrestling, he’s been into pro wrestling and due to being a HUGE wrestling fan, he went to wrestling house shows at the Cow Palace, collected and read wrestling magazines and bought video tapes of his favorite wrestling PPV events. His musical expertise was keyboards, computer/electronic instruments and guitar. Sadly, Patrick was an outsider at school as this lonely Asian musician and wrestler who didn’t felt as if he didn’t belong.

Although he loved wrestling, his talents for music outshined his talents as a wrestler. He had to self-teach himself to become a wrestler by reading Chris Benoit’s inspiring Wrestling Bible. One day in school in 6th grade, Patrick saw a blonde White girl named Samantha being bullied by three Abercrombie & Fitch wearing preps, a girl he had a crush on and also rejected him for the school dance. These three preppy boys who played in the Jr. High football team harassed her at the schoolyard near the cafeteria where she sat with her friends. That day changed his life forever. Patrick stopped the bullying and hazing in the process and might have received some minor injuries in that FIGHT CLUB, but at least for one day held Samantha’s hand throughout the school day despite getting “after school” detention at the study hall.

Patrick Lew would first got a taste of what the wrestling industry was like. He and others decided when Patrick was 15 as wrestling freaks, make their own backyard wrestling promotion and hire their friends for a hobby do wrestling at Patrick’s house. Reading more books on the wrestling business, they formed their backyard organization for the underground media, Samurai Wrestling Federation (SWF). The DIY and “mom-and-pop shop” didn’t go that far during the first few months but got a chance to put their SWF wrestling show at the Chinese New Year festival in Chinatown.

Sooner than later, wrestling was more than a hobby for Patrick Lew. Music was too, but this was like a religion for him. They revised SWF and made a more successful wrestling promotion and brand for SWF by turning it into Audio Rage Wrestling Alliance (ARWA). By then, the internet and computer stuff started to take off and because Patrick Lew was a computer guy, he made the ARWA website and did most of the work on his wrestling promotion’s webpage on his own.

At the time, ARWA was known in the REAL underground world of wrestling by having their high school, internet and college friends and girlfriends take role-play in this highly unconventional fed. Patrick Lew wrestled his friend Eddie Blackburn in many memorable matches held at his tiny high school Wallenberg High’s sports gym and theater to fight over Patrick’s ARWA Backyard Title.

In a memorable ARWA moment, Patrick Lew won the second “King of the Bay Area” tournament in a special backyard wrestling event held at Crocker-Amazon playground near where Patrick lived. While 50 or 60 people were watching the wrestling expo, Patrick put over his enemy Dimitry Shavlak in the first round by doing a Swanton Bomb off a ladder for a pin. The second round, he defeated his good friend Prophessy via sudden death at 16:33 with his finishing move “The Raging Demon” (a modified tornado DDT). The final round, Patrick Lew claimed his tournament accolade by winning his match-up against his other good friend Gray Eser. Afterwards, Patrick’s then-girlfriend, Japanese girl Yoshiko Kuwamoto and others came into celebrate.

But by mid-2004, backyard wrestling turned into a BOOT CAMP for Patrick Lew, who wanted to take this sport seriously and become a wrestler for his career with a secondary as a rock musician. In his farewell match in ARWA before starting a full-time wrestling job for college pro wrestling at CCWF, with the help of his good friend Prophessy, he defeated long-time enemy Robert Gorman.

Unfortunately, his life in college pro wrestling proved to be a HUGE disappointment for his wrestling career. His FIRST tenure at CCWF at City College of SF started out fresh as he was 1/2 of the “Hollywood Asians” with his best friend Zack Huang and had a good run as Tag Team Champs for the college but with the college pro wrestling faculty’s bad booking and ideas, Patrick Lew’s career in wrestling flip-flopped considerably as he lost to Roland Wong in 2 big matches for a PPV event. He also had a mediocre ring presence as the manager of a slightly communist/socialist regime wrestling group at the college called Global Noise, only to be thrown out in an embarrassing backstage brawl with his team. His color commentator role in the announcing booth in a Sunday morning show for CCWF did little to push him back to any success.

Patrick developed severe depression and some drug problems. Cleaning up at rehab, he spent most of his days at home playing music or working on his band Audio Rage. He got on the computer and went to the Skyline College Wrestling website and signed up right away. Sadly, his long-term romance with Yoshiko Kuwamoto slightly faded away and Patrick Lew developed some low self-esteem because of his abusive love life with other women although he claimed he 100% never abused his past girlfriends.

Having not been in a wrestling ring or show for awhile, Patrick was in the wrestling world and media again he came to SCW at Skyline College in December 2005. Making their presence known better than their backyard wrestling days with their SWF and ARWA promotions, but a wrestling career for this community college promotion/league proved to be disastrous.

That college and wrestling spot was a risky business for Mr. Lew as he developed a real-life rivalry with Aaron Cheng, whom was putting moves on his friend and mocking him usually backstage in the college. In a non-sanctioned Street Fight at Skyline, Patrick destroyed Aaron in a hardcore wrestling match not even booked for the event due to his real-life hatred for Aaron. Patrick might have been emotionally injured, but he physically injured Aaron’s knee in this match. He was then given by Skyline College’s dean of discipline Shelby Hancock to be fired from SCW and banned him from making appearances at Skyline College. This became known as the “Skyline Screwjob.” Fans in disbelief to this day BOO Aaron Cheng or Miss Shelby in a SCW wrestling show whenever its live at the gym.

At an online dating/matchmaker website, Patrick Lew met his current BEST female friend Ashley Lohan on Match.com, who lived in Seattle where Patrick Lew currently resides following his tenure at SCCW, but often visits San Francisco for his second career tenure at CCWF. Ashley Lohan will be in the Shootcamp with Patrick Lew very soon as his VALET. The two best friends however are NOT dating but are just friends.

Ashley Lohan will be named Patrick Lew's replacement for his best friend Knuckles due to a HUGE personal breakup in wrestling.

Luckily he got a job in wrestling again. While revising and reopening the ARWA wrestling website, he found a wrestling careers website on GOOGLE equivalent to JobFinder.com called Shootclub.com. In June 2006, filling out an online application for a job in wrestling once again, his prior experience in college pro wrestling and backyard surpassed the Shootclub.com dojo, and he immediately began working for the Golden State Wrestling (GSW) promotion and brand, expecting to debut soon. He also signed a contract with CCWF Wrestling at City College of San Francisco planning to make sporadic appearances with the company.

Wrestling and musician outsider/rebel Patrick Lew and his childhood school/college friend David "Knuckles" Arceo are planning to form a wrestling promotion/league called Chinatown Backyard Wrestling [temporary project name] and include a talent roster of wrestlers and divas from CCWF, SCCW and other promotions. They are planning the Chinatown Wrestling e-fed's first EVENT on Patrick Lew's 21st birthday on November 15, 2006.

Wrestling History: As a wrestling fan growing up, Patrick Lew and a couple art school friends formed a backyard wrestling promotion called ARWA Wrestling. They also made their fantasy wrestling league their very own website. Patrick and his backyard wrestling friends from ARWA learned in-ring skills from library books on wrestling. Also a rock musician who played various musical instruments in a group called Audio’s Samurai Sorcerers, he graduated from Wallenberg School of Arts in mid-2004, and went to City College of San Francisco and Skyline College before Patrick decided to seriously embark on his wrestling career by signing up for Shootclub.com, the website where a pro wrestler’s dreams are made!

<Shootclub.com / Shootcamp’s School of Rasslin’

Shootcamp Wrestling Patrick Lew (along with his girlfriend Ashley) is expected to debut and be a full-time wrestler in SCW wrestling league based on recommendations from Shootclub.com officials on July 2, 2006. His wrestling career sure might take off! Currently, Shootclub.com is Patrick's idea of making a DVD wrestling documentary of his career in wrestling and music! Boy what else can we expect from the wrestling outsider...? Also, Shootclub Wrestling's own Patrick Lew will be occasionally doing his OWN wrestling/music columns on this Shootclub.com website! The place where wrestler's dreams are made!

The Future of Patrick Lew's Wrestling Career? If pro wrestling reject Patrick Lew achieves more in his wrestling career than expected in the Academy wrestling leagues for Shootclub.com, and wins the fans "over" and earns accolades in Shootcamp Wrestling (SCW) by winning LIVE EVENT matches in theaters and bingo halls for the Academies of wrestling and earning the SCW World Title and other wrestling accolades to the mix...He could very well be promoted to the BIGGER wrestling leagues like Golden State Wrestling or even...Shootclub Wrestling Alliance. He might be promoted by Shootclub.com wrestling company faculty be fulfilling prerequisites to BIGGER pro wrestling promotions instead of just doing ACADEMIES or REGIONAL indy wrestling feds. He might be wrestling in sports arenas like Madison Square Garden for the RSW or AWA wrestling promotions in front of 25,000 wrestling fans and accomplish something if promoted as this ASIAN wrestling talent who just spent 2 weeks in Shootcamp so far.

But it's too early to tell what might happen. Patrick Lew might also accomplish more in his non-wrestling career...Music. He already has a one-man band Audio Rage/Samurai Sorcerers which makes music on a computer application and MIDI keyboards and promotes his music on the Patrick Lew/ARWA Wrestling website. If rock music becomes a musical career for Patrick Lew, he might take some vacation off wrestling dedicated to the LIFE of rock & roll music. He might even revise and re-open his backyard wrestling promotion ARWA as an Internet-only wrestling league. We don't know. Hopefully he won't be sucked into the wrong mistakes that caused him setbacks in both music and wrestling for his occupations.

Attire: Patrick Lew previously wrestled with a more Asian pop star image by dressing in AZN PRIDE fashion such as bleached bangs, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger clothing store apparel. Sometime around late 2005, that Japanese pop culture and anime/manga gimmick was phased out with a more Grunge and Goth look as Patrick Lew would dress in Hot Topic shop’s 50% off band t-shirts and adopted torn plaid or flannel shirts along with Goodwill thrift store blazers. He also began wearing a Guns N Roses chain wallet along with ripped Levis jeans from Anchor Blue.

Attributes: The wrestling outsider Patrick Lew, the Audio man, is a more high-flying cruiserweight wrestler along with some technical mat wrestling skills. Previously, his wrestling in-ring experience eluded him to use hardcore wrestling weapons such as kendo sticks and tables but Shootclub.com school of wrestling phased it out to make him a more high-flying daredevil type of brawling wrestler.

Weaknesses: Due to being diagnosed with manic depression, Patrick Lew has a tendency to skip house shows for his old wrestling career occupation for his ARWA company and take care of his mother. He also had a problem with drugs in the past, and had to clean up through general hospital REHAB. No stranger to setbacks and personal life failures, Patrick can be very uneasy with personal life and career which led to his breakup with then-girlfriend, a Japanese woman named Yoshiko.

Who is Audio Rage with Patrick Lew’s name? He is an aspiring musician, artist and of course…Wrestler. But he is a troubled young man who didn’t belong in school, church or on internet social-networking websites like MySpace. He is an Asian American of Japanese and Taiwanese (Chinese) ancestry in his ethnic cultural background. He played music in a couple local bands, continues to be a part-time musician…But his main focus is pro wrestling and trying to succeed in this industry after he makes the grade from Shootcamp, Shootclub.com’s school of wrestling where dreams are made…
